Remi is a very active and intelligent golden brindle Whippet/terrier mix who is one year old and weighs around 40 pounds. Being part Whippet, she is quite the athlete and would make a terrific agility dog.  She can also jump several feet off the ground to catch a frisbee or ball. In addition, Remi loves to run long distance, so if you want a running buddy, she would be perfect.   She is going to need a home with a yard and six foot wooden fence.  Remi loves  going to the dog park to run, but in a home would do best with a male dog. Because she is so energetic, we would suggest she not be in a home with small children. 


However, Remi is extremely loving and enjoys cuddling a lot.    If you are looking for a smart, loyal, active and loving dog, who is also kennel and potty trained, then Remi may be the dog for you.   To meet Remi, please contact [email protected].



ADOPTION FEES:    




Dogs:  Males - $100 and Females - $125.  This fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, including rabies shot, fecal, and heartworm test.  If dog has not received these services, you will be responsible for taking the dog within 30 days to Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  




Puppies in FOSTER CARE ONLY under 4 months old:  Males - $125 and Females - $150.  This includes 4 sets of vaccinations, deworming and spay/neuter/rabies shot thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  If puppy is too young to be altered within 30 days, approximate time for spay/neuter will be set based on age.




 Cats:  Males - $75 and Females - $100 – This fee includes spay/neuter, fecal and vaccinations (FVRCP-FELK and Rabies) thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  If cat is not altered, spay/neuter appointment must be set within 30 days of adoption or based on kittens’ age.  GAP does not test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).




 Kittens in FOSTER CARE ONLY under 4 months old:  Males - $100 and Females - $125.  This fee includes two sets of vaccinations (8-10 wks & 12 weeks + rabies shot), deworming, and spay/neuter when old enough thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  GAP does not test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).




If a pet has a special adoption fee, it will be listed in their individual posting!!
